Home of Triathlon St. Moritz is the first port of call for triathletes and their coaches when they want to plan and implement a training camp in the highland climate of the Engadin. Hotels and apartment owners have joined up with coaches and providers of sports services to put together a series of offerings tailored to triathletes and other multi-sport athletes.
St. Moritz and the Engadin are a unique high-altitude training area for athletes across all ages and levels: four out of six triathlon Rio 2016 medallists prepared for the Olympics up here. They, along with many top and junior athletes, take advantage of the sports facilities, the advice of sports physicians, as well as the training assistance of the world's best coaches. Both national and international training groups spend their training camps here in the alpine climate at an altitude of 1,800 meters above sea level.
Over and above the training propositions, the Home of Triathlon organises the St. Moritz Triathlon and Duathlon as well as the KidsCup by Nicols Spirig that take place every year in August. That is the event where amateur athletes compete against world-class athletes, and kids meet their stars.
